A former bodyguard for Britney Spears is suing the pop star in court over allegations of sexual harassment. The lawsuit, which was filed yesterday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, accuses Spears of willfully inflicting emotional damage on him during the several months that he worked for her.

Between February of this year and July 1, the bodyguard claims that Spears was verbally and emotionally abusive, that she exposed herself in front of him on many occasions and even went so far as to engage in sexual intercourse in his presence. He also accused Spears of engaging in sexual relations so loudly that her two young children would be able to hear it.

While many, including Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline, are dismissing the allegations as pure fiction, the former bodyguard seems earnest in his actions.

The bodyguard first came to the public's attention several months back when he accused Spears of being a bad mother. He claimed that she beat her children and was inconsiderate in regards to their dietary needs. The Department of Child and Family Services investigated the allegations, but found Spears to be an adequate parent.

Still, the bodyguard has stood behind the allegations of child abuse.

Spears, who is not without some history of erratic behavior, and her legal team are hoping to have the case dismissed by the California court.

The bodyguard who filed the lawsuit certainly faces an uphill battle, going against a celebrity of Spears' status. However bigger stars have fallen.

There has been no indication from the court yet as to an opinion on the lawsuit.
